Solar Winds A space odyssey Journey with us, from lift off to the end of space in this adventurous, yet soothing New Age album that will take you away for awhile. In a review from Tracks Online, Jeroen Roeper said "All 12 tracks are blending together to one big piece of beautiful music, just listen to it from the beginning till the end". A delightful solar journey. One customer said "I'm listening to it in my car, it keeps me from wanting to scream".
A musical odyssey into the unknown depths of space. Some of the songs are soft and dreamy, some are a faster pace with wild sound effects. In this album the mood changes from song to song and often within the same song. From soft to powerful, slow to upbeat, Solar Winds is a gentile mix of orchestral and synthesized sounds. For those who appreciate good stereo separation, try this album with headphones! As you may expect, this album makes use of many sounds and effects, including the shuttle lift off with countdown. "Dianna" adds a little vocal to "The Force Within" and you may hear more of her soft wispy voice in the next album. For the most part, Solar Winds is still an easy listening album that will "take you away for awhile". The album starts with The Odyssey Begins, our shuttle lifts off for an incredible adventure. Into The Void, has an ominous feeling as we consider the hazards ahead, such as The Asteroid Belt. As we prepare to leave our solar system, we look back and give a Planetary Salute, a good bye to Earth. Our first odd encounter is an area we call the Cosmic Fireflies, glowing particles that resemble evening fireflies. Looking out the forward bay, we are struck with the view, a Beautiful Universe lies ahead. Several days later we lock our telescope onto the last stage of a star, Twinkle Little Dying Star. The next surprise is when we pass through an odd force field which affects our instruments, The Force is a faster paced song with the voice of Dianna. With all of that behind us now, we can Escape To The Stars, sort of a movie soundtrack feel. Next we encounter yet another phenomenon, an vast section of space that causes our ship to become Electromagnetic as we pass in and out of the areas. Now that we are finally in a quiet sector it is time to reflect with some Spatial Thoughts. We are now beyond the point of no return, a place we call Angel Land.
